A Day in the Life ~ Hunter

Welcome to the new series of “A Day in the Life.” Here we will explore other classes and players throughout the game and find out why the heck they would make the choice of not being a shadow priest! Of course I would start out with my partner in crime: Kosycus.

Character Name: Kosycus
What the heck are you? A level 80, Survival specced, male Orc Hunter
Where the heck are you? The PvE server Icecrown (US)
Armory? Clicky.

Me: Where’d you get that name?
Kos: I made it up about 10 years ago. I get it no matter where I go because its unique.

Me: How long have you played Hunter?
Kos: About 2-3 Years.

Me: Why hunter?
Kos: Well, I had a shaman but I kept getting owned in PvP. I asked around for the best class at PvP. At the time the answer was Warlock or Hunter. I just happened to choose Hunter.

Me: What specifically drew you to Hunter rather than Warlock?
Kos: Warlocks have to cast, Hunters don’t. Bestial Wrath really drew me in. Also the ability to kite.

Me: What’s your favorite thing about your class?
Kos: The pet. Knowing that there is something else dpsing or tanking. Even if I’m stunned my pet is still doing damage.

Me: Pets cheat in duels. What do you hate most about your class?
Kos: Getting nerfed… Fighting for gear sucks too. I know its not as bad as clothies, but it still sucks.

Me: Do you have any advice to your fellow hunters?
Kos: Please.. PLEASE.. learn your class. Learn the talents. Learn the rotation. We have a rep for being huntards because no one learns their class.

Me: Where do you go to get advice for your hunter?

Me: What’s your favorite thing about WoW?
Kos: The community. If you can get into a good guild you can have a lot of fun raiding.

Me: What is the one thing about WoW that you wish you could change?
Kos: The arena system. The rich get richer. It’s being abused and it’s hard for new people to get into it.

Me: Everyone knows Hunters don’t arena.. Reroll a pally. Speaking of rerolling.. If you had a Shadow Priest what would you name it?
Kos: Something hunter food related.

Me: ..Crossing the line sir. What’s your greatest accomplishment?
Kos: When BC first came out finally getting to 70 and getting fully epic’d out for the first time.

Me: SS or it didn’t happen.
