The Simple Enjoyments

Just a short post.

It’s no secret that I love the simple things in life. Small jokes. Small references. I just love them.

Blizzard has so many little tidbits throughout the game that it truly has become something that keeps me coming back to the game. I still smile at seeing the gnome Jhordy Lapforge in Gadgetzan. (It’s in reference to the Chief Engineer Geordi La Forge in Star Trek: The Next Generation.) Something cool that I just found out is that Michael Dorn (Lt. Worf ST:TNG) does quite a few voices for the game. See, still made me smile.

Here are a few screenshots of recent things that just made me appreciate the Blizzard crew.

This.. quest was interesting. I had to eat berries.. and then go and poop them out in the outhouse. There were many grunts and sighs made.. and the debuff picture I had was just.. great.

This is on the boat from Stormwind to Northrend. It’s a very long boat ride and at first I was annoyed at the time it took, but then I looked up. You sail underneath a ship that is on fire and its just so pretty. I have no idea the point of it, but it’s just pretty.

And the BEST thing WoW ever did. The instanced quests. Where you actually change things based on your actions. The DK start area and this quest. Where as Horde I retook Undercity with Thrall and Sylvanas!
