One the best things ever are ban lists. It lets me know when people are on my ban list and the reason as to why. Some of these are just personal pet peeves of mine.

So here are 5 easy ways to get on my ban list. If you….

..have a retarded name.

Seriously. I will put you on my ban list for having a name such as: niggarsayzwut, urafaglolz, or some other hateful name. I do this for 2 reasons. 1: I think you’re an idiot. 2: Since you obviously are an idiot you more than likely don’t care about playing as part of the team and will most likely backdoor.

…backdoor for whatever reason.

“But, it allows it so it must be ok!” No. It’s not ok. “But, it’s not DoTA!” Yes, you are correct. However this game has common courtesies as well. No backdooring is one of them. “But I don’t wanna looooose!” I don’t care. It’s ONE game. ONE. It will not kill you to lose one game or to lose 100 games. It doesn’t matter. Lose like a man, not like a pathetic child when his ball gets taken away. Get. Over. It.

…are on my team and  trash talk.

I don’t care if the other team trash talks, but if you are on MY team you aren’t going to act like a tool in a peeing contest. You know what happens when you are on my team and you trash talk? WE LOSE! EVERY GOD DAMN TIME. Don’t believe me? Get on my team and do it. I don’t care if you are on the other team and trash talk, it doesn’t matter that your team looks like a bunch of tools, it doesn’t matter if you talk trash and then rage quit when I own you, but don’t do it on MY team.

…disconnect because the game isn’t going your way.

For the love of god you will be on my ban list so fast. If you feed and quit: Ban. If you QQ and quit: Ban. If you talk trash and then RRRRRage quit: Ban.

…use mods.

Any kind of mod ruins the game imo. The game itself is fine. It’s not like WoW or any game that actually NEEDs mods to be playable. Why do you need a rune timer? Why?

How do I put people on my ban list you may ask. /banlist add <name> <reason>. Be sure to add the reason so that later on if you ever encounter a “why did I put him on here” you have a reason. You can also right click their name in chat and select ban list from there. However right clicking won’t allow you to place a reason.

    @Kirei: Most people that have "racist" names aren't actually serious about it. Just like how you continuously use the word "retarded", yet you probably don't mean to insult people that are actually mentally retarded.

  • Annoyed At Cheats!!!
    Anyone else think that a disconnect at start of game should automatically result in a remake?!?! Or that the people that refuse the remake should be automatically have their accounts permanently locked?!?! I think that allowing them to refuse the vote encourages cheating and have experienced exactly this a number of times. I never refuse a rematch when a player on the opposing team disconnects, because I believe in fair play, but it seems there are many losers out there that are so lame they can only win if they cheat in ways like this. If a game is created as a 5v5 game then it should be a 5v5 game from the start to finish. There should be a heavier penalty for disconnects, maybe locking the persons account permanently if they go over 10% disconnects, although I should add that disconnects due to game crashes should not be counted. And I also feel that it is easy for a team that is 5v3 to simply farm till they have enough gold and are all on lvl 25, to kick the 3 lvl 25 players butts solidly, so the argument that you can still win with less players is totally flawed although it probably has been done before...

    uh... your a fucking nub. backdoor is tourney legal. Backdooring is the strategic way to play it isnt courtesy.

    Backdooring is allowed in DoTa and TDA. This has ALWAYS been the case. Not sure why you think it is part of some common courtesy. If we are winning for sure and you try to backdoor, you will not win. Try it.

    I agree with everything except backdooring. I guess it depends on whos rules you play by, but personally I think it makes the game more interesting. Ah well, each to his own.

    Got here from your meta key "banlist" and I think we are quite similar. Im kicking obscene nicks just cause I dont like looking at them. Not banning but still dont want them in my games. The reason I'm looking for BL is my last game. Opponents are 4 locked friends. ap in gamename and sd ingame (nobody noticed, our bad). They refused rmk due to whatever reasons "come on we can still play" "you must know ONE of the THREE you got" <-haha. One droppes from our team and I promise he was in on it. 4v5 sd and then gg. That when BL really would like to be filled to the brim with curses. No reason what so ever not to rmk a 4v5 faulty game other than psr and the f*** of it.

    Don't forget banning people when they buy couriers and suicide them into their friends on the other team to feed them gold and exp. First time in ~500 games this has happened to me and can't say I was happy. Had to sit there for 10 minutes til they finished the game cause we couldn't concede or kick.

    I just had a Slither do this, gave about 7k gold to a Chronos. Didn't ruin the game at all. Hah.

    And I thought leavers were annoying.

    "…use mods." Wow really? Banning someone who uses a feature of the game?! It's like banning people for having the health bars permanently on.

    I'm fine with your other 2 points but seriously, get over yourself, you honestly seem like the type of person I would ban simply because you throw bans everything for every stupid reason.

    So you would ban people because they ban people? "get over yourself" ? :)

    I use the ban list to ensure I don't have to play with people I don't want to. Think about it. You use it the same way.

    Also love the angry vent comments from people that can't even provide a real email address.. Maybe I should change the comments to registered only.. but gosh it's all so entertaining.

My name in-game is Anusbanan1 (Anusbananna, hard to figure out? not really no) And I'm not even close to that assumption and the time it took me to write it, it took you to read it.
