Get a Bfly
Why’d you get a bkb?
No refresher yet?
Someone get a gem!!!
What the hell are they talking about? Even if you ask you’ll get “LOL NOOB” 9 times out of 10. They’re talking in their native DoTA tongue. I know, go figure. They’re calling items by their DoTA names. While I’ve seen this trend go down a little bit it’s never going to go away until hopefully release. So you can either pick it up on the fly within the game or you can take a few moments to check …

Got a patch the other day to not only fix the scout bug, yays, but gave us 2 new heroes.
Forsaken Archer: Hellbourne Ranged Agility
Click the images for full view.
and
Engineer: Legion Ranged Agility
From playing with these two they seemed rather weak. Then again, I play noob games. I never got to play the archer because she was constantly getting click camped, but fighting against her was somewhat interesting. Her disable is pretty neat, but timing is an issue. I was able to avoid it just by noticing the animation. Other than …

I like contests. I really do. I like seeing entries. I like seeing people participate. It makes me giddy just thinking about it. So anyway, on to the contest. My new one:
Do you have a DOTA Clan?
Have you heard about HoN? Have you heard just how awesome HoN is? So not only do you want to try it out, but you want your clan mates to join you. Odds are you can only find one or two keys hanging about for yourself, but how the hell are you supposed …

HoN had a new patch the other day and a long with it came a bug to a hero I was working on getting better at and a surprise: new boots.
Here are the patch notes:
General
- I bet you were expecting 0.1.55. Surprise! No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!
- Pre-Query filtering is now available to cut down on the number of servers pinged
* This will help those who time out when pinging servers to avoid that problem
- Fixed a large amount of spelling and grammatical errors in all tooltips
- Game lobby …

To concede or not to concede? That is the question. One most people in pubs find asking themselves a lot. Some don’t care. Some will concede after a first tower is lost because to them winning a game means being perfect from first blood to last rax. Others will only concede as the other team is taking down their tree or shrine. Then there are the rare few that refuse to concede no matter what. So what kind are you? I’m all over the place personally. I concede at different …

It’s BETA.
Enough said.
No really though. I desperately want to get some hero lists going. I want to get strat guides. I want to create great information that you will read and say “That’s it! That’s the guide I’ve been looking for!” But, HoN is in BETA. Knowing my luck I will put hours into a guide to only find a patch the next day destroying what I worked on. So I’m stalling. There’s a few heroes that I’m familiar with enough to write a guide on that I’m confident won’t …

You’ve been staring at the guild registrar for days, contemplating whether you should start a guild. You have the money, you have the guild charter, but what next? If you haven’t yet check out my Basic Laning Guide.
So what is advanced laning? Advanced laning is how you lane mid-late game. By mid game your team will probably be ganking, farming the jungle, and team pushing towers. You or the other team will have lost a few towers by now and you are no longer taking lanes by twos or by yourself anymore. Now is the time for advanced laning.
The Group Push
If you see 3 or more of your teammates in a lane pushing a tower you should join …

If you’ve ever been an officer for a raiding guild, there always seems to be that certain someone who makes your trigger finger itch over the /gkick function every time they log on. The most frustrating, infuriating, and down-right annoying member that you can ever have to suffer in your raiding guild is the guy who just doesn’t get it – he has a perpetual misconception about what a raiding guild is formed for, and therefore, infuriates other members, the officers and non-guildies complaining about changes that he feels should be implemented. Well buddy, this one’s for you – these are the reasons that your inane requests are not considered, are not on the menu, and will never be implemented

We all started somewhere. For me, there was Duck Hunt. I had the big orange gun that I couldn’t hit anything with until my older brother pulled me closer to the TV and said, “Put the gun on the TV and shoot.” Ah, the first instance of cheating at a game. Thanks bro! Then there was Mario. Getting Yoshi for the first time, discovering secret areas, and of course beating a game and feeling complete and proud of myself.
