What the hell are they talking about? Even if you ask you’ll get “LOL NOOB” 9 times out of 10. They’re talking in their native DoTA tongue. I know, go figure. They’re calling items by their DoTA names. While I’ve seen this trend go down a little bit it’s never going to go away until hopefully release. So you can either pick it up on the fly within the game or you can take a few moments to check out this great list by HoNStrategyGuide.com .
The most common ones I hear are:
BKB: Shrunken Head
Gem: Bound Eye
Bfly: Wingbow
Refresher: Resto Stone
Blink Dagger: Portal Key
