Best Part About Christmas… Receiving Games

One thing I love about Christmas is the games I get! Another great part is that I give games to Jon for Christmas. So when he’s done with them MINE! :devil:  Ya, ya, ya. You just wish you had a gf/bf that played games so you can get double the games too.  :tongue:

Anyway, this Christmas I got the Sims 3 World Adventures expansion pack for my Sims3 game. Unfortunately though it kept crashing while trying to load up my old saved games. So I had to start over and start a new family. Which, of course, left me little time to actually play the expansion. Getting my sims to the top of their careers not to mention the babies is time consuming! In the sims2 I used to cheat all the time to give my sims money, keep them happy, or to manipulate their aging. I told myself I wouldn’t do the same in this game. No cheating! They had to earn their own money for vacations and other things. I finally got enough money to go on vacation and I took them to Egypt.

It was a lot of fun! I explored tombs, made money, figured out puzzles, learned new recipes and skills. It was really enjoyable. I’m now saving up for the next trip because I didn’t get to explore everything that first time around and I really want to complete all of the tombs and get everything. Not to mention I still have to visit France and China. I’m really interested in China.

So as you can see I’ve been busy and haven’t been able to post. Sorry! Here’s to Christmas and the games Santa brings.
