Every time I want to think of how to explain a conceder I think back to Jar Jar in Star Wars when the droids surround him and his captain (?) says something along the lines of “Think of something Jar Jar!” and he responds.. “I give up.” and puts up his hands. /ends post.
Ever get in those games were someone picks a hero despite their team asking them to pick a different one and the second the game starts you see a remake vote at the top? I have.. numerous times. All is lost if it’s not a perfect cookie cutter team. Don’t want to remake? Fine, he’ll sit in the well. Normally this last a few minutes.. they get bored and decide they want to at least hit a creep or two. So they get into a lane. FIRST BLOOD! Yay! ..oh wait the other team got it. And just as quickly as the remake vote went up the concede vote does now. Team doesn’t want to yet? Back in the well he goes. Again, this only lasts a few minutes. He gets out his rage and waddles back to the lane. Of course.. now that he’s spent all this time in the well all game he’s behind on levels. He’s the perfect target for ganks now. He’s behind and won’t catch back up. Every time he dies he throws up the concede vote. He begins feeding due to ganks, he himself has lost the game for you. Not hero picks, or loss of first blood, his attitude did it.
Rather than fix the problem they will attempt to take the easy way out by conceding. Not because they will lose necessarily, but because the effort it will take to win has become greater than they originally thought.
