Archetypes of HoN : The Farmer

The Farmer

GENOCIDE!!! “wtf happened?! I thought we had everyone.. why did you wait to go in?” …oh You stopped to kill them creeps there did ya? Well then.

Seriously.. it happens all the time!

Farmers are the players that play HoN for the PvE. Didn’t think there was a PvE in HoN did ya? PvE in HoN involves killing creeps and killing them damn well. That means stacking them correctly and well killing them.. and.. ya that’s PvE in HoN.

Farmers try to master PvE, most fail. 90% of the time farmers are people that just don’t know what to do so they go into a lane and push it too far, or they kill neutrals over and over again with nothing really to buy. They are typical followers and are waiting for someone to tell them to do something.

Things you’ll notice with farmers:

• Will often lane way past the “laning phase” in a game.
• Will take the last hit away from a carry while laning.
• Will take a stacked camp of ancients (or any other neutral) away from a carry.
• Will push lanes way past the “safe zone” leaving themselves to gankers.
• While in pubs, rarely picks a carry even though their farming tactics would support a carry.

Ok I have to admit.. I have a little farmer in me. Look, sometimes those creeps are giving me the eye.. and I have to give them the business. Don’t you judge me! You do it too.
